Shehnaz was born and raised as an orthodox Muslim in Karachi, Pakistan. From day one, she was asked to be fitted in the box that wasn’t aligning to her true calling. She was a “Firstborn as a Girl” and wasn’t accepted by her father because he was following a patriarchal mindset, “women are groomed to be a wife, a house maker” and therefore doesn’t belong in a school. He was pragmatic, and Shehnaz was determined, and therefore she became a high school valedictorian and continued her path to be an Engineer. In the middle of starting an engineering school, based on the cultural tradition, she was married off to a stranger after the one-hour interview, and she came to the United States in 1992, leaving everything behind. Upon her arrival in the United States, she overcame financial, cultural and language barriers to get herself acculturated in this new life.
Shehnaz went to Girl’s school and only dreamt about speaking English one day, finished up her education from a very prestigious school, University of California, Irvine as an Electrical Engineer while attending the community college to learn English. She spoke four languages (Urdu, Gujrati, Hindi, and Sindhi); however, none of them was English.
For the last 25 years, as an engineer, she has worked in large cooperations like Boeing/NASA. She had the privilege of working on the most massive rocket, the Space Launch System (SLS), ever built that is planned for the mission to Moon and Mars. Her recent work at NASA was for the Commercial Crew Program (CCP), as a Flight Test Software Engineer ensuring Space X Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket to be used for taxi service for Astronauts from ISS to Earth. Falcon 9 rocket historical launch occurred in June 2020 with astronauts aboard and had a successful mission back and forth from ISS. She is currently working for NASA for the development and demonstration of a Human Landing System (HLS) to deliver astronauts to the lunar surface by 2024.
For the last seven years, as a spiritual alchemist, she teaches workshops to empower and enlighten people by sharing her knowledge and wisdom in the successful integration of physical and nonphysical worlds. As an energy healer, Shehnaz is certified as “Life Activation Practitioner” under king Solomon lineage. “Life Activation” supports us by bringing a moment of clarity to a lifelong question about how we fit into the greater scheme of things by turning on our spiritual DNA, divine blueprint so that we begin to awaken and remember our potential. As a transformation coach, she works one on one with clients to help them be leaders in all aspects of their life. This style of coaching uses the bio-individuality philosophy, meaning everyone is unique. What is one person’s food can be another person’s poison.
She believes in DNA level healing and therefore is a distributor of a German machine called BEMER (Bio Electro Magnetic Energy Regulation). BEMER is a machine for everyone and was designed initially for German Citizen as the closest thing to fountain of youth. BEMER enhances microcirculation and helps rebuild the immune system via the patented waveform and signal. NASA is working with BEMER to have these specially designed coils woven into astronaut Intravehicular Activity (IVA) Suits to help mitigate the physical deterioration in space and help with bone density losses.
Her ultimate message, “As we undertake the daunting task of transformation, the changes we embark on will become habitual, automatic, and effortless. The process is like a rocket leaving Earth. At first, it requires enormous power, then less and less as it leaves the Earth’s gravitational field. And finally, it moves through space under its momentum.” We have the power to live the incredible life as a powerful multidimensional being; hence her company name is “Ashes to Sona(gold)” highlights the alchemical transformation one can undertake to live their highest potential life.
To-date Shehnaz is an accomplished aerospace engineer, spiritual alchemist, energy healer, and transformational coach. She has lived in two continents, and various states in the United States. She is a proud mother of four boys. She travels the world for various reasons, including her family living in multiple continents and her passion for continually learning and growing. Her deep desire is to continually team up with innovative people, utilizing both “Science and Technology” and “Spirituality” to bring a revolutionary change to planet Earth for the overall betterment of humanity and ultimately create a heaven on Earth. She truly has lived by this quote from Christopher Columbus, “You can never cross the ocean unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.”
